Wholistic Village Community’s driving force is to re-shape how our members & members of our community live their lives. Our mantra at Wholistic Village Community is ‘Change the way you MOVE. Change the way you EAT. Change the way you LIVE.’ We whole heartedly believe in our mission to improve the lives of the people in our community through proper educational teachings related to moving our bodies in a functional & efficient manner, as well as how to fuel our body’s properly. However, in such a manner that helps the environment, not hinder it. With our business model structure; we will re-imagine & re-create what ‘grocery shopping’ means for our members. We plan to do this in a way that catalyzes our economy through creating everlasting partnerships with local farmers, ranchers & brands in order facilitate our members with locally sourced goods & products. We believe in our community and the establishments that reside in it!

My name is Andrew Nesselroad. I’ve been a personal trainer here in Austin, Texas since Fall of 2011. I started out at 24 Hour fitness (Hancock Center) with three fitness certifications. During my time there, I received an Associates degree for Kinesiology. After working my way up to a Level three trainer, servicing 1500 session & three years later, I decided to create my own following, and work for myself. During my Undergraduate at Texas State University, I trained my clients at various fitness facilities. I obtained my Bachelors in Exercise Sports & Science with an emphasis on Pre-Physical Therapy in December 2017! I launched Wholistic Village Community in April 2018 in order to start generating traffic. My clients currently train out of the studio gym I’ve built on my property. We are hopeful to migrate into a Brick & Mortar Fall of 2018! Wholistic Village Community was envisioned in order to create a more efficient routine for members looking to move better while consuming local nutrient dense products in the process.

Specialties: I have trained clients ranging from 16 years old to 58 years old, weekend warriors to half marathon runners, weight loss to bulking and anything in between! Although I don’t claim to be a physical therapist (and you should consult with a physician before engaging in physical activity), through my education, I was fortunate enough to get a first hand experience of Physical therapy through hands on learning with over 300 in clinic hours. If I’m not the right fit for your progress, I’m sure I can help you find someone who is!

Although physical well-being isn’t the end all be all to a wholistic life, it sure does help! With our professionally licensed trainers, whether you’re in a group setting or semi-private personalized training, we’ll be able to progress you within your bodies restrictions, at a level that challenges you in all the right ways. Moving simply isn’t enough; moving with purpose & specific to your capabilities is what makes the difference between our programs and a ‘hard’ bootcamp you attend.
Our ultimate goal for you, is to improve your daily quality of life, in a pain free manner, all while getting to the goals you desire!
From a sustainable standpoint, we don’t use any equipment that requires to be plugged into a well (except a clock)! We believe, during our own self improvement, it shouldn’t come at the cost of our planets health.
Change The Way You
We live on this planet, so our goal is to make sure we leave it better than it was handed to us. As a result, we will be a non-GMO, pesticide free farming facility that utilizes solar panels, LED lights & an atmospheric water generator in efforts to decrease energy resource consumption. We plan to be USDA organic certified as well.
Our hydroponic farm system will look cool & feed tons, however that isn’t the only reason for its use! We plan to educate people on different farming practices that fits their lifestyle in order to increase food knowledge & nutrient dense consumption.
We believe food is a fundamental right for a human. As such, we plan to increase food sustainability & decrease the amount of food deserts here in Austin. A portion of each harvest will be donated to a multitude of non-profits established to increase fresh food security.

Our goal is to create everlasting partnerships with other farmers, ranchers & local brands who practice humane & environmentally sound practices. As a result, we will distribute these products through our e-commerce site for our members to indulge in, guilt free!
We plan to partner with the sustainable food center in order to allow WIC, KTAP & SNAP food stamps on our e-commerce platform, or at the very least in house towards the produce we grow, increasing food access for lower income members of our society.
Increasing local brands & product sales directly influences our economy here in Austin, which is why our e-commerce platform will directly affect that result. The more brands (who hold similar standards to ours) that we partner with, the stronger our economy grows.

Andrew is a great trainer. I have seen incredible results since seeing him. Not only have I improved in my technique but also am a lot more conscious of the food I eat! He spends time to truly educate you on the reasoning behind every workout and dietary change. He is very positive during our workouts. I personally respond well with positive reinforcement. While I’m sweating my butt off through tough exercises he really encourages you and keeps you motivated to push through. I highly recommend, Andrew!
Andrew is an exceptional trainer. He is very attentive during workouts. He tracks your diet and workouts outside of your sessions and adjusts accordingly. I have trained with him for years and have gotten results. My friends have trained with him and gotten results. As long as you do what he says (very important). You will get results.
Andrew is a great personal trainer! He definitely held me accountable and also pushed me through my workouts, which were two things that I really needed. He is also very knowledgeable when it comes to injuries and knows how to put you on the right road to recovery.
Speaking from someone who has never liked working out, Andrew was great! Willing to help in and out of sessions, he always had a comfortable but disciplined demeanor. Anytime I was feeling lazy or uncommitted, he persisted and managed to get me off the couch to better myself. Thank you, Andrew!
